AeroShell Piston Engine Oil 80 uses high viscosity index base stocks. It contains only a small amount of pour point depressant and antioxidant. Certified for four-stroke aircraft piston engines (excluding Porsche) and radial engines needing oil that meets SAE J1966 (MIL-L-6082) without a dispersant additive, it is mainly used during the break-in period of new or overhauled engines. Consult the engine manufacturer or overhaul facility for specific break-in duration and lubrication guidelines.
