AeroShell Piston Engine Oil W100 was the first non-ash dispersant oil for aircraft piston engines. These oils combine non-metallic additives with high viscosity index base stocks, ensuring exceptional stability, dispersancy, and anti-foaming properties. Unlike traditional oils, they leave no metallic ash residues, preventing deposits in combustion chambers and on spark plugs that could cause pre-ignition and engine failure. AeroShell Piston Engine Oil W100 are for certified four-stroke reciprocating piston engines, including fuel-injected and turbocharged engines, but are not recommended for automotive engines. For converted automotive engines, consult the engine manufacturer or conversion agency for suitable oil recommendations.
